Since inception (1st May 1971) AAPI, Kartarpur has given the people of  this region especially its less affluent and poorer sections, compassionate medical and nursing care of a truly professional standard, In a spirit of selfless service and at reasonable rates, which is widely appreciated. This charitable Institution is animated by the philosophy of loving compassion for the poor and suffering and seeks to provide competent medical care in a spirit of service and free from the motive of profit, to the people, in general, without distinction of caste, creed or race. AAPI has extended well beyond its walls, the reach of its services to the sick and socially marginalized deep in to villages.

With number of patients increasing day by day, expansion and up gradation of this hospital is the most urgent need of the hour.

Expansion of infrastructure and facilities demand resources. AAPI Charitable Hospital is being run solely on help from donations of philanthropists from India and abroad and through continuous support of  AAPI;USA  & Kartarpur Charitable Fund; Canada, there is hardly any source of revenue or aid from any financial institute/Govt                  

Spending money and resources in the cause of downtrodden and impoverished sections of the society is highest form of virtue encouraged in every faith & religion.                     .
