Humble Appeal

In the last one decade the expansion from one room dispensary to present hospital has been possible due to financial aid from philanthropic, AAPI Charitable foundation USA, Almuni Medical and Dental Association of North America (AMDANA) and Kartarpur Charitable Foundation (KCF) based at Mississauga (Canada).

On the continued popular public demand to further supplement the health care facilities the Trustees Committee of AAPI Charitable Hospital Kartarpur has undertaken a new project to expand Hospital in a phased manner. Initially a plot 73 Marlas adjacent to the present location was in the year 2002 purchased costing Rupees 20 lacs. The entire financial help for the purchase of land has come from KCF Toronto.

An ambitious plan was drawn out and foundation stone laid in Nov. 2000. The basic structure of basement, which will house, Diagnostic & other services was completed in Nov. 2002. Further work started for Ground Floor on covered area of 7800 sq. ft.

On persistent demands from public, basic structure is ready for Ground Floor, which would house DENTAL & EYE DEPARTMENT and needs more funds for finishing and getting more equipment.

It is planned to upgrade the hospital and make provision for Secondary Health Care Centre. Once ready the Hospital will be run on same lines as Missionery Charitable Hospitals. When the medical treatment will be subsidised so that the middle class and lower middle class can afford it and the poor and needy given substantial concession.
